Does anyone know how to make quality confetti. I am currently paying about $25 per pound. I've tried diamond cut paper shreaders, but they quickly gum up when I shread tissue paper. I'm at a loss...

What are you going to use the confetti for? Can't you make them? I make my own confetti for certain effects. I also make my own mouth coils....

I want to make confetti for the snowstorm effect. I don't know where to obtain the paper or how to cut it. Taping seems easy. I tried "tissue" paper but it is too heavy.

Will it be too expensive if you will just buy snowstorm confetti? The materials that I use is called "Japanese Paper" which comes in different colors. I don't know if this is similar to the "Tissue paper" that you are using?

I think it's more trouble than it's worth to make it yourself. I go through ton's of that stuff .. Throw Steamers, Turbo-Fetti. Just go to the source .. Dave Cressey sold his business to a young man recently. I'm sure someone will chime in with the answer.

I agree with Steve... much too much work to make yourself. It really is worth the time saved to just buy it premade.

I go through 1/2 case of mouth coils per year, and about 10 packs of snow confetti per year. I was planning on doing snowstorm year round, but at three tablets per show, I was looking to reduce costs. I heard that there was some magical way to make your own.

I agree, once I figure out how to do it, I'll probably determine that it is not worth the time.

When you purchase a Kevn James Snow Animator, he provides instructions on how to make your own snowstorms. but...of course...you have to buy the prop!
