Hi Magi,
A question for the New York magi who probably know. Are there any moderately priced restaurants in Manhattan that feature table hopping Magicians? Thanks!

I know Oz Perlman performs on the upper east side somewhere - you might check out his web site. Your best bet though might be the Monday Night Magic (or whatever it's called) - not table hopping, but by all accounts a very fine show consisting of a variety of local magi (including the likes at times of Simon Lovell!).

Thanks Michael,
I've gone to the Monday Night Magic shows a few times and they're great shows. I'll look at Oz Perlman's site. I'm just interested in seeing table hoppers at work. Thanks again for the info. All the best, Dave

Well I just visited his website and there is no mention of the restaurant. I suggest you send him an e-mail or even call him. Around 3 or 4 months ago, Oz gave a lecture to our magic club in the Chicagoland area. I chatted with him afterwards, and he mentioned the restaurant as a place he's currently working - wish I could remember the name.
I liked his lecture a lot - it included some very fine effects he uses in his restaurant work. I definitely think it's worth getting in touch with him! Michael Miller
