I wonder if one of the trip words is "COMPUTER!"

Well, what I hate, here’s a great idea for magicians….
buy they have the nerve to run endless TV commercials for it. Now everyone who watches too much late night television knows about it, and that makes it far less useful for deceptive magical use. Who wants to evoke the spirit of Aunt Elsie and hear, “Oh, my husband has one of those in our garage too!” Unfortunately, since time (or magic) began it has been our job to stay ahead of the technology curve, harder in times of mass media! I had one of these surgically implanted years ago. I couldn't get my ADD ramped up enough to block out the chatter...this works fine...

Hey, that is sorta cool..
unless you have to actually shout, "Clap on!" to turn it on and "Clap off!" to turn it off. The Clapper: not recommended for Gonorrhea sufferers.
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.

I took the time to read the manual.
Yes, the built-in command word is "Computer!" But it says you can change it. It also seems to be saying that the range is about 4 feet, and that they suggest an external mic for better recognition. Given the amount of troubleshooting that's in the manual (never a good sign) it might be more hassle than one would hope. |
