If this has been covered before then forgive me.
I'm devising a routine where a devil's contract is involved (hey, that's what happens when you gamble). Does anybody know of any sites that have the basic wording of the contact (as I could produce my own) or is there one commercially available (i.e. on parchment paper)? Thanks in advance

Yes, I've seen them. Give me a minute...

BlackHart does indeed sell this item but the website *has* changed.
See http://www.blackhart.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ And click on "Accessories & Props". Hope this helps. |

Joel Given published a sweet effect in the New Invo when it was under Doc Hilford's editorship.
It's a good routine that takes the sting out of such things. Luke Jermay. |

Eugene Burger has an effect involving a contract with the devil on his 'Magical Voyages' DVD collection, I think it's the second one. Check out his presentation if you need some ideas. It has a nice build up.

If you are insane, you might seek out a copy of Arthur Edward Waite's "The Book of Black Magic and of Pacts."
You can't get the exact wording from Marlowe's "Doctor Faustus," but you can get the feel (and see the consequences): http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/Texts/faustus.html Yours, Paul |

You should take a look Here!
You'll start to understand why the Surnateum is a wonderful tool for bizarrists. The image is a copy of Urbain Grandier's pact with the devil, reproduced in Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal (ed. 1825-26) the most sought after edition. A personnal note book with a lot of "contracts" signed by famous people (Hitler, Torquemada, ...) may be a wonderful tool. Difficult to make very convincing, but nice. |
