I had actually filmed a version of this when Tim(feher) posted a video of his outstanding three fly.
It looks like we had the same thoughts concerning the 3 fly routine. Quote:

I did'nt care for the opening display where you show a coin then push them into a fan. Through out the routine you made your movements slow until the "magic" happen I feel this is a dead give away of you are doing something. Putting the coin in your mouth just to show your hand empty is a distraction. What I would do right now is just work out your timeing and ask yourself if what you are doing makes sense. Are your movement justifiyed ex...putting the coin(s) in the mouth doing the shuttle passes things like that. Also I would make the movements smaller. Keep up the hard work it will all pay off. Keep us posted on your progress on this. I hope some of this makes sense. This is just my opinion you can take it or leave it. Just have fun doing your magic. Tim

Tim,
Thanks for the input. I originally did the effect with a theme that the coins only go when the hands are crossed....then I came up with the idea of putting the coin on the table or in my mouth to show the hand empty. If this makes sense I need to bring the hands together without it looking like I'm bringing the hands together and I have to have motivation for doing that. I'll work on smaller movements and timing.....thanks again. After watching it again I think my hands should be farther apart as well.

Don't look at ur hands when making your moves, it is a dead give away. Practice and learn to do all while looking at the audience. They look where you look. You looking at your hands makes your moves look too deliberate. You are moving ok, and a little practice will make it smoother, but you need to be able to do it without looking at your hands.

I was debating about looking at the hands because it is a visual effect. I actually had taped it without looking at the hands and felt it looked stiff....if that makes sense. I do see you point however. Thanks

One thing I wanded to do is not have the same transfer twice....thus the shuttle pass. I'm working on version two (well actually version three) that takes out the mouth hold. After thinking about it, to get into position for the first transfer all I really have to do is scratch my face or head of something. I can take out the shuttle pass by adding a little play that brings the transfer from a different direction. The main thing I want to avoid is bringing the fan and single coin together for a transfer. And I also don't want to place the single coin into the fan of two for a transfer. Thanks for the feedback....good points from all.
