Actually the best lecturer for all things magical while never teaching a trick is Dan Sylvester.
He's willing to show you anything he does but would rather help you learn to be a magician. What a concept. Dave |

Michael Ammar for me. His cups and balls routine was great and I've never forgotten his faux tear.

Saw Fielding West lecture last night...er...actually this morning in Myrtle Beach. Outstanding. One of the best lectures I have ever seen. His stuff is solid, working pro's material. Get his L&L Pub DVD if you don't have it already - you will use something off of it for sure. But the lecture was great, very good teacher - I would reccommend him to any club....

I am glad you met Bev. He is a true gentleman. His knowledge in unsurpassed, and his credentials are above reproach. This is just one of the many web sites for Bev: http://www.magician.org/member/bergeron/about It is amazing the effects this man has created over the years. And if you ever hear that he is going to perform his: "The Mutiplying Bottle Act in 1953 - added the Water Fountains in 1955", I would make every effort to see this performance. It brings the house down. Also, if you ever see that he is going to lecture, make every attempt to get to the lecture. There are some real "jewels" in his lecture. |

I'd have to add Reed McClintock to the list.

I agree - Reed McClintock is an amazing individual. One of the best!
I would say the best lectures I have attended so far are Reed's and I have to add Michael Vincent to that list as well. Both go beyond the typical "here is how you do it" to the "this is WHY you do it".

I thank you guys for the kind words, a lot of thought and time went into developing the lecture. I have been to many myself and I am generally left feeling like I didn't get what I was expecting. I worked really hard at putting something together I thought I would like to see as a magician. So its nice to hear my planning and efforts were grasped and understood thank you again.
