8 hour drive later and I'm back in Nashville. What a weekend! I opened the thursday night show and served as MC, did 3 lectures and made a lot of new friends (let me hear my Disciples of Cool)!
Some cool moments for me: 1) Seeing my protege's Lonnie & Krista headlining the Thursday night show with some really different and unique theatrical magic. 2) Being able to cover our friend Austin so that he could attend a real convention for the first time in his life. He's been going through some tough times, and this was just what he needed. 3) Being pulled into a confab with Dave Williamson, Josh Jay, Tom Craven, and Justin Miller to try to figure out the most impossible things any of us have ever seen! 4) Jory won the close-up! Great time, and more stories to be told - some that will be told for years! |

This was my first Magi-Fest, and I must say I had a great time. The hospitality of the midwest was very special. Kudos to Jep and his Red Coats, for running a first class convention. I got to make a lot of new friends, and meet up with a lot of old ones. Thanks to all of you who attended. You make being in magic very special for me!

John,
You said it bro! This year was something very special no doubt. Myself and Williamson and David Storm shared a booth, got caught up with my bro Joshua Jay, saw some great magic in the lobby. Now as for what some of us in the know saw..I am speechless! Josh and I were talking afterwards and we both were just dumfounded, IF and this is a BIG IF, this guy ever goes mainstream this will be the most incredible thing the magic world has ever seen. See you guys next yr. Justin N. Miller |
