Mine loves the old movies as well and I'm especially proud of her because she likes the old 'B' Westerns too...but when it comes to the two of us sitting down to watch a movie together (as an event) my old 50's movies lose their place in line...unless I break out the projectors for a REAL movie night. Then anything goes! Jungle Jim might be chasing Gorilla suits. Smile

Loved Jungle Jim, Tarzan, Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy, etc. They just aren't the same on high-quality DVD as they were on the fuzzy old B&W dial-tuner set.

Gojira

I wonder how many people know that "Gojira" is a certain country's word for __________"?
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

On the subject of B westerns:

When I was about six, the family went on one of our occasional jaunts to Corriganville to watch stuntmen stage 'shootout' shows for the public.
We were parked far back in the parking lot that day, and someone stopped to give us a lift to the gate.
That someone was MAX TERHUNE, 'Alibi' the ventriloquist of the 'Three Mequiteers.'

Orange County, Rat Race, Happy Gilmore, Midnight Run, Independence Day, Hills Have Eyes, Lord of The Rings (any of em), Garden State, Tombstone, Sleepy Hollow, From Dusk Til Dawn to name a few... I find that it is typically the comedies that I enjoy watching over and over the most.
