Teejay - Yes, you are right. I do think that members of the audience used in "TIA" are capable of exposing you. That's my main reason for disliking it. You are also right in stating that "TIA" uses a more subtle way for finding suitable and cooperative participants. And yes, whilst none of what has been said gives anything away, this discussion is best left to Inner Thoughts. I don't have access to that, but PM me if you want to discuss it further.

No, not at all. I'm just giving my reasons for disliking it. "TIA" seems outdated to me, but that's just my opinion. In the right hands, and especially on television, it can be very powerful, I'm sure.

I am delighted by how many feel TIA and suggestive mentalism is not for them. It is indeed more difficult to pull of successfully, then again so is playing Rachmaninoffs 3rd iano concerto. It requires the skill set that separates the showmen from tose who are content to perform an evening of marketed devices and routines.
