Hi
I have been doing Magic for about a year now and am considering trying a bit of Balloon Modeling. I would be very grateful for recommendations of any good DVD's or Books. I understand that one DVD or Book could not explain everything about this art, so would be interested in starting off with the right choice. Many thanks. Darrell |

Hi Dazzler,
You came for help at a off time. There is a major ballooning convention going on this week and weekend in Boston. Most of the main players are there and I don’t know how many are coming on here this week. If you don’t get many suggestions this week come back next week. Also read other threads in this section and you’ll find links to other sites. http://www.balloonhq.com/ This is a great site to start with. Very informative. Mark Byrne AKA Mark the Balloon Guy http://www.balloonguy.net 2007 Tampa Bay's Best Strolling Magician Creator of Bad to the Balloon DVD series see it on http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=theballoonguy Is a full time Pro and has several DVD’s which seem to get a lot of favorable reviews.. http://www.balloon-animals.com/ Supplier with a section on doing animals. Have fun, Muggs |

An additional web site to check out is: http://www.mbd2.com/forum/default.asp There are a lot of friendly, helpful folks over there who are willing to lend a hand. Regarding DVD's, Mark Byrne does have some great stuff as Muggs mentioned. Another DVD is: http://www4.mailordercentral.com/tmyersm......ber=4712 This is good for someone just starting out. Hope this helps. peace, phill

Darrell,
Some information about Balloon Jams (get-togethers) in the UK can be found on both MBD2 and BalloonHQ. MBD2 lists at least 62 members from the UK. Meeting others interested in balloon art can be a great way to start.
