I once didn't want to go to school because I knew my dad would go and get me some ninja films to watch if I was ill (you know the really old ones), so I told him that I had earache, fortunately for me he called me on it and took me to the doctors. The doctor found a small lump and referred me to the hospital, 2 months later I was in surgery for a tumor. I lost my hearing in the ear but felt very lucky.

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

Not a morning person. Never have been. Plain & simple, I just wanted to sleep!!! LOL! Worked a handful of times in elementary school. Never tried it after that.

Did it a few times...but only really to prove that I could
I had a nurses handbook when I was younger that I bought from a second hand market, I just picked a few things out of there that were easy to fake and wouldn't require a doctor visit |

I just dropped out
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

ROFL! I would spray myself in the eye with hair spray. It would come out nice and pink, go away in about an hour and heck with pink eye you can still go out and play. Luckily I am not blind now!

Me and Emil.
Emil and I were the same age and best friends growing up. Emil went to Catholic school, I went to public. While in the 5th grade Emil had a week off from school because of some Catholic reason? I can't remember what. I didn't have off so together we hatched a plan to get me out of school for the week. Emil's father had been in a car accident a few months ago and part of his rehab was to wear a neck brace. You know, the plastic type. I asked to borrow it and said I would wear it to class and then tell the teacher that I had to be off for the week because the doctor said I need to rest. I went to school on that Monday, Emil waited for me at the deli. I went into class and everybody was asking what was the matter??? I said I sprained my neck and had to take the week off to rest. My teacher was very concerned and asked me to go to the nurse. Wow, I thought, this is going to be easy! The nurse asked me all these questions, what happened, who my doctor was, and so on. "Okay, wait in the waiting room". Cool, home free. Well I waited...and waited...and waited for what have been close to an hour. Suddenly the office door opens and in walks my father! The nurse called him at his job...who would have thought! I had to take off the neck brace and go back to class! I think that was my first dose of humility! It took a loooooong time for my friends to stop laughing. At lunch time I met up with Emil and told him the story. I went back to class and he went home. 14/31 |
