Any performance video's of this classic Ammar effect? I recently picked up an old copy of Encore III at a local IBM auction and recalled how much I liked this effect when I saw it years ago. I am working on the routine from the book and I curiously searched youtube and magic video depot to see if anyone has a video. I am surprised not to find one.
So any performance videos or do I have to buy Ammar Live or ETMMM 3?

It's not Ammar, but check out Osmosis by Al Schneider... there's a performance video on his website.

Also on his Magic Castle lectrue DVD which has some other great effects, well performed and explained. ETMMM 3 is well worth the money for just this effect. I have performed this piece and it's a very magical effect!
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

I agree that ETMMM3 is more than worth it. His presentation is good with some nice bits. There are other variations of the trick around but I think that they miss the point. This is a great trick for walk-around. Very visual. I have not done it in more than a year or maybe 2. Not sure why. Just working other stuff in I suppose. I think I replaced it (for now) with Professor's Nightmare. Another great trick.

If you like coin through silk you might want to check out a version by Nate Kranzo on a dvd put out several years ago. I put together a routine using some of the best moves from each.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for mentioning my routine! It can be found on my Outside The Box DVD. I am thinking about possibly updating it and making it a video download. All the best, Kranzo

I learned the routine from The Magic of Michael Ammar vhs put out by Hans Zahn around 1981. If was right out of MIke's FISM winning set.
It used a click pass. He later changed it and did away with the click pass. I had done the click pass version for so long, that I thought the updated version was done just for the easy to master series.. But years later, I tried the updated version and I really liked it. If you don't know the routine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kRb1n3rv6A |
