You have to build it, finish it (ie. paint) routine and rehearse it in two and a half weeks? To present it to the public? By April 4th?
GOOD LUCK! |

But honestly.... If you are an expert cabinet maker and metal worker, as well as a seasoned full time performer, and you have the next 3 weeks to ONLY work on this illusion- you are still REALLY pushing things.
Leaping Lizards!!! Who knew it was possible.

I have Osborne Plans for two slightly different "slimlines" and they are both much more complicated to make than they appear at first! I've tried a few ambitious projects in my time, but doubt that this is in any way possible! - Just painting the thing is going to take 4 or 5 days! |

Thank you all for your help! I do have a crew of professional builders waiting to build and others to locate the special parts. Also, it looks like the day has been moved to the end of April, thank God!

Very ridiculous!
Don't hold your breath waiting for an update on how that team of professional builders stayed up all night and produce a wonderous prop in time for the deadline. Best, Tim |

Rent one ASAP and spend that extra two weeks rehearsing it. I think Owen's still rents standard illusions and I'm sure there are others. Probably some pro illusionists who would be glad to rent one to you if you had the proper credentials and insurance . (hopefully anyone would have the foresight to be sure that the person they were renting the illusion to is not employed by Fox-TV or "Masked Magician Productions, Inc." ) |

But seriously. THe original poster said that the performance was going to be at the end of April. It's July. And I'm a sick *** so I want to hear the horror story of how it all worked out. Come on now. Don't disappoint.
