I find cargo shorts are the best for organizing your things. I even use pill containers, and other nice little containers to hold small close up tricks like Nickle to dimes wich has many parts. the shape & size of the containers Ii can feel whic trrick I want to present to a person or persons.

Well, maybe if you'blaineing. if you want to busk, and I do it without a table, get a pouch. Frank from"The Ambitious Card" makes and sell the BEST busking pouches, bar none. I went to Gazzo's masterclass and tried Gazzo's pouches, they are good, but Frank's are EXCELLENT.
I know where everthing is in my pouch from my thumb tip to my linking rings and everything in between. And yes, I have ended my shows with the cups and balls complete with hat load, plus my other tricks that I perform during a show and used, just the pouch, except I use a portable table when I have the cups and balls. I use my jacket, pants, and a few belt pouches (different ones depending on the items of the day).
Though I don't truely "blaine", I can't call myself a busker anymore either. I make balloon critters to gather a crowd, when the crowd is there I do some parlor effects (Carl Cloutier's ACAAN, TT and Silk routine, Collateral Damage [Sankey], etc.) Since I've been re-working a lot of my routines, I don't need as much stuff anymore - so staying organized isn't as hard. If you need some help with prop organization, look for Ichazod's thread about it -he posted a genius idea a while ago. On another subject: Paddy, You have the Busker's Pouch right. How many pockets are we looking at?
Think inside the box. . . it's less crowded.

The Busker's Pouch Has:
One lager pouch area for large props like the cups and balls. One mid-size thiner pocket in frount of the large pouch area for smaller props like rings, silks, cards, and more. Two side pockets on the size of the main pouch. That you can put your wand, lots of business cards, or any other small thin prop that would fit in a 3" x 4" well. You also have three small slots for coins, and one more thin flat pocket. Both of these are in the main pouch. If that was not anough you have one hidden zipper pocket for money to be hidden in. That pocket in behind the main pouch right next to you body. That is all of the pocket on the Busker's Pouch. I will say get the deluxe version. The main pouch is lined with material. Have a great day. Sean |

Paddy,
What type/size of hat load are you loading from that pouch? Thanks. Jim

You can do a coconut size load. Maybe a little bigger but no way a melon.

Looks like you can come up with many ways of organizing your wares.
Plain duffle bag is the easiest for larger items. Most of my closeup magic I carry to the partys & shows I do fits in a standard office breifcase.

I see you have some larger illusions. many don't like to use them because of weight& space. That is no problem for me if I used them. the larger things will work if you can have multiple use for them. theres many smaller really effective things you can use that is why I use the street type actions.

I ude an office briefcase also. It fits linking rings, my wand, silks, business cards, perfect pen-etration, cups and balls, and a sharpie with a few other effects. It all packs very nicly and I can fit a 30min show into a briefcase. I love it!
