I was doing laundry last night & found a very clean reverse color Queen of clubs & the envelope it was in. Needless to say, it was ruined
As I was throwing it in the garbage, I remembered the time I set up for doing card to bottle(unsigned),I put the Queen of clubs in the bottle & got ready to have a spectator select a card. I did a quick check & saw the card in the bottle was the Queen of spades. That is when I realized that it was one of my cards from Twisted Sisters. Anyone else have any gaffed card flubs like this? I ripped shimmed cards for T&R
I did mecury folds using shimmed cards I let sign the spectator "cut narrow" cards (from a full deck of narrow cards) I splitted misindexed cards just because I did not realize it was misindexed. I had to go thru decks to find my Hofzinser "see-thru-card" Am I glad..... I can make the gaffs easily myself.

I washed my Razzle Dazzle packet effect years ago. Still have the warped cards from it somewhere. Guess I really loved the effect. LOL
How about having an ex getting up in the middle of the night to see how all your magic works? Does this count since it wasn't my flub? Went through everything and tore it all apart. Woke up to find some of my card magic sleeping with the fishes... in our fish tank. lol |

I don' know if they fit the Gaffed Bill, but I had a Mishap with "Color Monte" once. To my Horror, I showed the first red diamond card and it had a big smiley face drawn in sharpie pen. Yep, The second red had one "Exactly" like it. I just laughed, quit, and hung my head in shame.
To this day I still don't know how that got there. |

Mecury folded a marked deck.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

Well, I could have done things but didn't. Now I just laugh at it all and remember the old phrase. As you get old you will look back at things that made you cry and laugh but you will also look back at things that you laughed about and cry.
Need to track down Razzle Dazzle as it was my favorite packet effect. And hopefully not run it through the wash. lol Kex |

Bob Elliot told a story about having a set of "Poor Charlie" cards in his shirt pocket one hot summer's day in NYC... and getting home to find them all separated into soggy components... and that was a Derek Dingle handmade set too.

As I was tearing up a deck of cards so that I'd have 52 cards pre-set, I accidently tore the card for my Intercessor Gimmick, yes TORE THE CARD. That gimmick is a $60.00 gimmick. Anyway I just calmed myself got a joker and re-attached stuff to where they needed to be. Anyone else get fooled by their Intercessor Gimmick and tear THE CARD before? Thanks, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.
