Chris Priest, the worker’s worker has done it again. As with the other routines he has recently released, these are practical, fun and entertaining pieces of solid magic. The consistently high standard Chris demonstrates in actual live performances of his material in real venues is impressive. The performance segments are an excellent lesson in themselves with plenty of interaction, gags and presentation details.
Chris is the consumate showman in his routine Ace Reception. This is one heck of a dazzling routine. Chris performs the sequences at a cracking pace and comes across as undoubtedly a grand master with a deck of cards. The effects are cleverly ordered to build in impact. The sequences include Ace locations from a volunteer shuffled deck, Transpositions, Twisting the Aces, All of a Kind and the list goes on. The entire routine is modular and if I had one very minor concern, it is a long routine with the only subject matter being the Aces. However the individual effects do have variety in many ways. It would be hard to find a more stunning multi phase Ace routine in existence. One of the things that I think is great about Chris’ theme is because of the patter Chris uses and the way the routine is constructed, the onlookers had a genuine sense that ‘this guy is seriously DANGEROUS with cards’. It will take some serious work to get it all down if you want to do all the bits the same way as Chris performs them. The reward will be looking like a virtuoso! JFK is another extensive routine with multiple phases. This time it is mainly based around the ambitious card plot with a card to wallet and also uses John Kennedy’s mystery box to finish. Again there are plenty of surprises built in and the action just keeps coming. Chris’ strength is in his ability to truly dazzle people with high impact magic that delivers blow after blow in quickfire sequences. Chris has wonderful tips to share on these classics and his performance clearly hit the mark again. Just like his other releases, Master Card Routines is another high quality, real world workers special ideal for all close up, table, and walk around performers. Cheers, Al

I'm interested in these but I've heard hardly anything about them.
