I own it. It is worth the price. Great apparatus and great effect.

I produced an adult stage show last year that ran in a hotel once a week for 8 weeks.

Dani

feel free to pm me if you are interested in purchasing this from me.

Now another question as it's hard to tell from the video....When the web is 'spun' is the magician just standing behind the web or is his interlaced in it, i.e...rope webbed behind him and in front of him???

Thanks.

Sent you a PM.

Do a search and you will see the reviews of this effect. A great effect and you don't see these for sale that often or even at all.

The rope is webbed in front first before the curtain goes up. Hard to tell in the video.

MB, there is some more video of The Web illusion from Jared Sherlock, its half way in at the 4:30 mark.

Also, I have a new idea on how to give The Web an Assistants Revenge feel making it more of a confined space you’re trapped in. I am sure Jack and I can bring this new idea to light if you wanted it.

Thanks,
Lance Richardson

Thanks Lance,

I will adding the illusion, but I have found someone who is selling theirs and will most likely be buying it from him.

Every time I look at the Web it remindss me of Houdini's Rope. I like Jim Steinmeyer's pattern.

Honestly, I can't decide which one.

What of those two effects do you think can get better response?

Thanks!

Well I had one buyer who had the Houdini's Rope and had chronic problems with the gimmick. There are NO such problems with the Web!

Please keep in mind The Web illusion uses an un-gimmicked rope that can be handed out for inspection. I have even seen a few guys play tug of war with the rope to prove it’s real.

It’s so true what I found about this illusion after made a search.
I think The Web beats Houdini’s Rope and any Walking through Rope Stage Illusion.
Without doubt, I will get it soon.

Just curious to know if someone has painted the metal frame to make it looks antique.

Okay, so let me ask you this...do you think its possible to replace the rope with a not so thick chain...something, thick but nothing to think...might add a little bit to it....thoughts...??

For the painting the metal to look antique talk to Jack about that. He gets all of the webs custom powder coated so it can most likely get the look you want that way.
