This may actually not be that a bad idea. I will look through it and let you know what I think. If you guys are able to control what gets posted on here it may actually be very entertaining to watch.

Yes this is the way we wntd to do it. But we are presently building a interface that will allow certain users to post (ex. after your 5th post).
Thanks for your comment ! |

Nice initiative!
Two observations: 1) The site doesn't display very gracefully in 1024x768 resolution. 2) PLEASE add a search function :o) Michael |

You can always take a look at this site to get ideas and see what needs to be improved on:

Embedded video and an OS non-specific video type (flash, MPEG, avi, etc.) would be good improvements. (Since right now a brand-new Mac couldn't watch those without going out of their way to get something.)

I know that flash is probably the easiest and takes up the least amount of space but having Quicktimes would be best. If you have Quicktime Pro ($30) then you can save any quicktime on the web (I know there are ways of saving flash files also).
Flash just seems to lower the quality so much and with magic you want to see every detail. What good is a bill change if the video quality is so low that anyone can make it look good. Just a thought. |

Cool, more magic sites can't be all that bad.
What does HOM stand for? |

House of Magic (the english name for our magic shop, in quebec, canada)
To make our name work in both languages, we decided to use HOM. Thanks for all your great ideas, changes are on their way ! |

I like it - but I agree that streaming flash video (flv or swf) would be best - no need for players etc... I hate quicktime plugin.
I recently launched my own site www.magicvault.net and have a few videos on the products. I'd like to get every item with a demo video. I am looking at a product from Swish that converts video to streaming flash called SwishVideo3 from http://www.swishzone.com It seems to do a nice job and isn't that expensive.
