I Went to the FEW in Minneapolis several years ago. It was a great time and I learned a lot. Highly recommended!

I went to one of these in Chicago. I signed up expecting Trixie Bond and Barry Mitchell to be there. When I arrived I was told that Trixie had canceled and that Steve was conducting her part of the program. I was disappointed and felt that it was not worth the money I spent. Barry Mitchell was the only good part of the whole program.

Just to clarify my post. Trixie was supposed to teach a section dedicated to performing close up for kids. Steve showed us some effects that were suitable for this. The complaint I had was that he didn't give any sort of notes on what he showed. I was under the impression that my registration fee included this. Instead he offered the notes in a $30.00 manual that he had for sale. He also presented tricks in the session that he sold. I felt it was all geared toward buying his BOR merchandise. I thought it was a complete ripoff.

Did anyone attend the May workshop?
