Effect:Spectator selects and remembers card from the deck. Card is returned and deck is shuffled.Performers removes a card and shows spectator stating this is your card. The King Of Hearts. Spectator says it is not my card. Performer says look again.Spectator says it is not my card. The selected card was the 4 of Diamonds. The performer says Look Again!Upon closer examination, the spectator notices that the King is holding in his hand a miniature Four Of Diamonds.
This is a novel way to end a simple routine with a spectators selected (forced) card. You obviously can adapt the routine and handling to what fits you and your style. The ending is a surprise as the spectator does believe that you are showing them the wrong card, which you are.Upon saying look again, they then see the miniature card that the king is holding in his hand. Simple, funny and entertaining. Available at bobsolarimagic.com Priced $5.95 |

This sounds nearly identical to one of the effects in the booklet "Stuck on You! Magical Sticker Magic", by Frank Zak. See the following link for a full description:

Another nice one at a reasonable price by Bob Solari. I just started using it - very effective with a miss and then a surprising hit of the chosen card.

I just got this. It's only $5.95 so I almost passed it up. Here's some points:
1) this can be used as a breather card because the the miniature card the king is holding is "raised". 2) comes in red and blue back bike. Bob routine has the card in the deck. I found as with many "revelation" effects, to have the card isolated and a different color back than the deck. So...I put this on the table as a prediction. I find it much stronger. And...I play this for laughs because that's what they do. It's funny. What a great opener!!

The reactions you get from this little item are way out of proportion to what it actually is...you have to perform this to see the response it gets. GREAT little effect here.
It also acts as a Breather card for your deck. I recommend this highly...and it's not expensive. A.J. |

I stated to use this card this past weekend. It is a great card revelation with two aha moments.
1. The spectator aha's at the fact that the magician got it wrong. The laughs continue every time the magi says, "look again" 2. The magi aha's when the spectator see's the miniture card. The breather card spect enables you to cut the special card into the deck and the cut right to it. Recommended. Michael |

I was familiar with the concept but always love to see Bob Solari's new take and spin on things so I bought this along with a couple of other things (not yet ready to review).
It's one of those cute and sure-fire predictions you can carry in your wallet if you'd like instead of in the deck as in the instructions. This way I pull out the "prediction" I place there from another deck, show it and toss it face down on the table in a very smug type of attitude. They respond that that's not the card, then I go into the "look again" thing, sometimes they grab the card and look at it and still say "its not the card" - but after once or twice either they notice (or another spectator) in the crowd will grab it for a better look...then its laughs all around as they point out to the others that I did in fact predict the correct card. Suit it to your type of personality and play it how it works best for you, for $5.95 you can't go wrong. |

I just received Look Again! and I definitely agree with everyone...it's elegant, simple and the cards are nicely made. I especially like the little touch on the mini card which makes it really look like the King is holding the card. If you have it you know what I mean.
I really like Chris' idea of putting it out as a prediction from another deck. Bob's instructions regarding cutting to the card also works because it appears that you've just randomly cut to any card... I guess it just comes down to your preference. Great price, strong trick! |

Been looking through my old stuff ... and found this. It's a killer diller! I play for gags, and I love sucker tricks. (I have to discipline myself... I could do them all night long!)
No idea if this is still available.. after all.. it's 13 years old. IMHO, old is good.. maybe because I is old now?
