Some of you may know and some will not I'm a prison officer, I'm 24 and have been for 4 years now.
the other day at work it was lunch and id just settled with a cuppa and pure effect to read when I thought I better check on my self harmers. anyways look through observation point this fellas hanging himself, burst in with a fellow officer, sort it all out, blokes crying eyes out etc, cos it wasnt serious we lock him back up and go back down, 5 mins later he's at it again, same old, in out crying on his bed, I went up 2 mins later hes barricaded his door with his bed, I force the door open and go in. anyways healthcare, governors the lots come over. nurse chats for 5 mins, no good, p.o chats for 10 mins no good he's still crying and not all there, they all go downstairs to discuss a plan with the parting words barry stay with him for 10mins, lovely! we get chatting about his likes and dislikes and he said he used to love magic, so I start bryns seven up, 2 mins later the whole team come back in ready to discuss whats next and hes laughing his head off as he turns the seven over, anyways hes happy again, barrys a hero backslaps all around I tried giving my paypal invoice to the governor today for the safwan papers claiming it as expenses, she was having none of it though, if she'd had said yes id ave dug out the pure effect 1 as well!!! anyways that's it, hes still alive, that's my job!!! |

LMAO!
What a great story....it is made even beeter by the fact that you used SEVEN! I shared an aside with a member here about SEVEN getting me in good with some Bloods gang members in a bar (that I had NO business being in!....) doing undercover ops during a recent drug investigation. It even made the arrest process easier when we took them off....I should post it here sometime. Thanks for sharing, Bryn

Great story.

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

Great story beds. I spent 8 years as a correctional officer myself, four as a supervisor and all of it with a maximum security attitude. I'd bet we could trade stories. Take care dude.

You better not sniff then. You've got some "slush powder" around your nose.

Those are the kind of stories that make me proud to be 1. a fellow 'human being' and 2. to be a performer using mentalism as the vehicle for doing so!
