In my mind there is no one better in the world. Like Jason said $5 dollars..are you kidding me. I would pay $1,000 just to see Tim work and he is doing his close-up show lecture? This place should be packed standing room only.

I've never wished I lived in Texas until now. Is he gonna be doing a tour or something? I've seen Tim perform once and I was never more astonished.

It sounds like a rare opportunity to see a true legend in the field. He performed at the New York Coin Magic Seminar a couple of years ago, and all the biggies watched him with awe and respect. His performance was a highlight for me. His take on Goshman's Salt Shaker routine would make Al smile, and if he does the Cylinder and Coins...well, let's just say that he has helped so many famous magicians with this routine, and has helped to make it one of the most popular classic coin effects around. GO see him!
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

I've known Tim for many years and have watched him work many, many times. Whether demonstrating the powers of the mind, or flawlessly executing all of the classics in magic (e.g, Cylinder & Coins, Cups & Balls, etc) I can't think of anyone who can do these effects better than Tim. His technique is perfect, his energy level during a performance is quite unbelievable - especially given the fact that when not performing he is rather soft spoken.
Do yourself a favor - go see this man work - and while you're there, ask him to perform his bill change - it is the BEST I've ever seen.

Thank you very much to everyone who posted endorsing Tim's abilities as a magician and mentalist. As previously noted, he does not perform for magicians very often. As such, the members of the Dallas Magic Clubs feel very privileged and honored that he was willing to do this. |

Paul Stone invited Tim Conover to the U.K. in 2006 for the I.B.M. British Ring Convention at Eastbourne.
He performed in a 'Trade Show' event and also featured in the Close-up show - very impressive! Off stage, quiet and unassuming, but lights up in performance. His magic was outstanding and I personally felt that there was a 'Jack Lemon' quality in his delivery - has anyone else noticed this? I endorse everything others have said - GO AND SEE HIM! Leslie
Stories....?....That's telling!
