A friend showed me Musha Cay on Google Earth, which I never thought to look up, and there was something weird on the island.
A black spot lol. http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/4217/mushast6.jpg

Astonishing what you can find online at one o'clock in the morning...
here you go: 23° 53′ 0″ N, 76° 15′ 0″ W looks like it could have been from a fire...

I didn't know Copperfield owned an island... and guess what on it???? according to wikipedia, "According to Copperfield, the Fountain of Youth has been discovered there.[4] But restricted access to the island, along with veiled language from the illusionist, make it an unlikely prospect"
might he have dug deep in the ground for the fountain of youth? What I first thought when I saw that pic was the show LOST. anyone else? kevin

There's a neat runway south/southeast of gaddy's post. Complete with a marina. It must be fun to be filthy rich.

Now I'm just curious...
I doubt it was a fire. There seems to be a standing structure on it. Lake maybe? Yet it's too dark... Probably just his hair clippings from the 80's. |

Is a lake considered a standing structure?
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

No.
In the lower left hand corner there seems to be a standing structure ON the black spot. Like one of those wooden canopies whatever they are called. |

If its a lake, maybe its the fountain of youth

To me that looks like the remainder of a volcanic crater that has filled with water. In other words a volcanic lake. These are not uncommon on small islands that may have been created by the volcano itself. The structure may be a cabana or boathouse of some kind. I am not interested in searching myself, but I'll bet if you find another crater lake you will see they look similar from the air to Coperfield's.

I'm with Clock on this. Its a body of water, and judging by the surrounding area, it appears to be a murky lagoon.
Since I was bored this morning, I pulled up Google and in less than 60 seconds, found another location a few miles south. Here's another one nearby that has some larger, less murky water nearby: By the way, I checked out the website. $24,000 for 8 people to rent the island for a day. Not too bad. *grin* |
