Anyone have a clue how to take a low resolution photo JPG and expand it to large canvas size without getting grainy as heck?
I tired simply increasing the resolution with Photo Shop and that failed me. Other ideas are welcome.

I guess this is impossible, you cant "invent" new pixels...

Your only hope is the make the jpeg into vector art, then increase the size, then smooth it out. What you will get is a very stylized version of the original as a piece of scalable art.

Best advice is right above. You can't get increasingly detailed images as you zoom into a digital image, no matter how many times they show it on those CSI shows.
