"Branded"
I rate the gimmicks and DVD on a 1 to 10 basis. The gimmick for the mini Bic lighter is a solid 10. It is small and easy to conceal and comes with one card force. The gimmick for the reg Bic lighter is a 5. It comes with three card forces, but only one is easy to use and it's the same one that is on the mini Bic. This will go into my sock drawer. The blisters that appear are very realistic, and better than others I have used. They are a solid 10. The DVD is a 6. In the performances they show the audience reaction and do not show Greg performing the trick from start to finish. It's kind of like watching Cris Angel on TV (the way it's done). They use the cross cut force during the teaching segment (the easiset of all forces, but one I never use) so nothing new here. I wish that Tim would have only come out with the trick for the mini Bic lighters. I would love to see him sell a couple of different card forces for the mini Bic. Tim, I hope your reading this. I would spend $25 for a different force for the mini Bic. The trick is overpriced because I won't use the Reg Bic gimmick and the DVD looks like it was rushed through. However, I don't regret buying it because doing the trick with the mini Bic gimmick is a very solid 10. Now if Tim would just sell some other card forces in the mini Bic he would have a super trick because right now it can only be done once (using the mini Bic). Mike Brezler |
