FYI, got this of ebay the other day with a bunch of other stuff... just wanted to say I thought of using it as a Psychic/ Psychokinetic "Test Conditions" device for testing a spec's mental powers..... works well as part of an ESP cards, etc. routine...
Just a share.

Oooh I didn't like it doc...though maybe some distressing would help it...the gavel itself looks nothing like a real gavel...

Yep - that's why I didn't bother to use it as a ghost item - it looks so new and fresh that what popped into my mind was "Who the heck would build this" and thus the premise that it was a modern day item - and thus it dawned on me to present it as that - scientists at X University, as part of their routine tests of subjects, used this device.... you hold the board with them and after you have done some pseudo-science or hypno stuff...the spec can raise the gavel with HIS MIND!!!
Yeah, well... once you buy something, I figure migh as well try to use it for something before it hits the shelf!!! Even if I distressed it etc. it would never look like a "Ghost Gavel".... Besides, my cool rapping skeletal hand is wayyyyyy better for that! So, that is why I posted here in Penny vs. Spooky as just seeing if anyone else also has ideas to make this a "scientific psionic" sorta thing. Thanks for the Link! That is the EXACT hand I own already! I also use it on Halloween to hand out candy to kids (and weirdly they all clutch it up off the table and want it!!! Youch....)
