I once was the proud owner of Bandit, a great blacklab. He has moved on up to that great doggie bed in the sky.

The wife and I have two Labs (Best dogs on the planet!)

One's a black lab (Whitney) and the other is a chocolate lab (Godiva). Here's a pic of the wife with our "kids" on vacation.

I had a dog when I was a kid. He was a weird dog. We lived next door to a gas station and one day I found him at one of the pumps licking up gasoline from a puddle! Then he started acting all crazy and began running around the pumps. Round and round until finally he just dropped!

Max, the Scottie, thinks he's a freakin' comedian whenever there's something that I need to do. . . like set up a tent. . . put out a fire. . . carry heavy loads. . . you know stuff that involves injury if I trip while I'm doing it. He's always underfoot. Wouldn't know what to do without him.

Chocolate Lab - Barnum (118 lbs.), soon to be eight years old.
Yellow Lab - Bailey (95 lbs.), soon to be five years old.

A real circus between the two of them, as the names imply.

The newest addition to the family was Lucky. My wife picked him and his two brothers up one day while driving a country road. This was in January '07 the three pups had been abandoned, were starving (skin and bones literally) and probably had one or two days left between them to survive. Seventeen months later and sixty-five pounds heavier Lucky is the smartest dog we have ever had. My wife found the other two pups homes and all are living happily.

Cheers! Smile

I have a dog.
She has four legs.
She is a terrier mix
Her name is "Aluminum Oxide - Chromium"
No one calls her by her full name
We all use the common name for that chemical

We have a dog, my son named him Max. He's a pretty smart dog as dogs go. He actually does most everything you tell him to. He's about 75 pounds, part husky, border collie and the vet thinks he has some wolve in him. Only problem is he's shedding like crazy right now, getting his summer coat. He's lost so much fur you could probably knit a decent size house with it. We took him to the vet a little while back and he was telling us that there's a test, I think a type of DNA thing, you can have done on your dog now, and they can just about tell you what all breeds you dog's made out of. He's not sure of the price yet, but he said it'll be spendy.

Two dogs... CJ and Lucy. CJ is a very sweet dog. Lucy is a juvenile delinquent. She has eaten a garden rake, part of my back deck, a privacy fence, and parts of my lawnmower. But she barks loud when strangers approach the house, and that's a good thing. CJ, on the other hand, would show a crook where all the good stuff is.

We have a Jack Russell Terrier named Nonnie and a collie named TJ.

Nonnie's fourteen and nearly deaf, TJ's three or four (we think: he's a pound puppie) and not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Yes I do have a dog. A (Liver spoted) Dalmatian. Her name is Aurelia and if I can figure how to add an image, I'll put it up. She's going to be 12 this Nov. and she is one of the funniest dogs you can ever meet. She talks and is super smart. People always ask "is that a dalmatian? I say yes, then they ask why it has brown spots, so I say because she is special and that every once in a while they are born with brown spots. Then they ask "what's HIS name?" Spot, I say as I continue our walk.

She loves squirles and baseballs. She can ALWAYS find a baseball in the park, even in 2 feet of snow. Once she does get a ball, she won't give it up until we get home where she knows that she can trade it for a snack!

Hey now...

Two dogs at the moment, both adoptees. Chopin is a yellow lab and Dixie is a mix of jack russel terrier and german shepherd. Dixie tries to herd the goats but since she only comes up to their knees she is not too successful. So she herds the chickens instead.

2 Border Collies and my wife's pain the butt Aussie Shepard! Roxy is my 7 year old BC and without a doubt the greatest dog I've ever had (I've had some good ones) and then there is Dilly (Short for Dilligas which is Acronym for "Do I Look Like I Give A ****e") 5 year old BC that I think musta hit her head at some point cuz she is CLUELESS! The only down side to having 3 stock dogs is that the MUST work or go nuts!
