Imagine the performances you've performed at your own close-up table as the spectators walk up to you. Imagine you want them to shuffle the cards, but they have a drink in their hand. Of course you would not want the drink placed on your close-up table. Won't it be good if you had a removable cup holder? The cup holder can be made to clip onto the table at a specific point. The cup will not be over the table, but in front or on the side of the table. Another location for the cup holder is attatched underneath. It can be slid out when needed. When not needed, it can be slid back underneath out of vision. Anyone seen something similiar before?

I've never liked carrying any sort of close-up pad, table or other gimmick with me when I stroll. After all, you're at they're table. The only thing that ever gets set on the table is an empty card box. If I'm going to do something that takes up more room and requires a pad, it's done after dinner. Last night, I had a huge crowd watching me in the bar early on. Later, the dining room had died down a bit, so I grabbed a pad from my bag, sat at a table in the bar and invited the crowd over and did a 20 minute gambling demo.
