JUST ANNOUNCED:
World-famous magician Bill Malone will be on the judging panel for the 5th Annual Chicago Magic Competition at Navy Pier on July 8th!

Since its inception, the Chicago Magic Competition has held to the belief that magical performers should be judged on their ability to entertain real audiences rather than other magicians. For this reason, each judging panel is comprised predominantly of lay people who understand entertainment, plus one magician. In the event's inaugural run, Jay Marshall graciously assumed that role; we are honored that Mr. Malone has agreed to do so in this landmark year.

Originally from Chicago, Mr. Malone was a regular at the New York Lounge and Little Bit of Magic comedy/magic club. Since that time, he has become a figure of international prominence within the magic community, with memorable appearances on the NBC series of specials, World's Greatest Magic, and successful tenures as owner/headliner at Houdini's Pub in Ft. Lauderdale and Malone's Magic Bar in Boca Raton. His instructional materials for magicians have been widely acclaimed by performers and trade publications; and in the corporate world, Mr. Malone is in great demand by a long list of Fortune 500 clients. He has entertained such celebrities as Princess Stephanie of Monaco, Jay Leno, and Donald Trump, who was quoted as saying, "I love your magic and I think you're great, but stay out of my casino."

Sharing judging duties with Mr. Malone are two highly respected non-magicians from the media and theatre worlds, who you'll be hearing about soon.
