Anyone attend this event, which occurred in late June? The line-up looked fantastic. I'm curious if John Bannon performed and, if so, what he presented.

It was a fantastic convention.
Raj Madhok and Thom Peterson did a tremendous job organizing the great line up of talents (John Bannon, David Regal, Dan Fleshman, Francis Menotti, Greg Wilson, George Tovar.) Mr. John Bannon performed his elegant collection of Fractal card Magic and lectured on material from Dear Mr. Fantasy. It was a rare opportunity to spend some time chatting with John and watch him "flesh-out" the incredible routines from his book. While John's material is top notch commercial stuff, he still considers himself a hobbyist (His professional vocation is corporate law) . BTW...Many of the attendees inquired about lecture notes but none were made available. The material, which is from Dear Mr. Fantasy, is currently OOP. Mr. Bannon is considering republishing it in paperback based upon the level of interest...hint, hint ! Bosco |
