I am trying to make an electric deck but not the one that is sewn through the middle. I saw a different version. I'm not really sure but I think it was a david ginn version where you staple the cards at the very end of the cards. So I just wanted to know if this is the right method of making one. Also will this type of electric deck be able to do the slinky move?

The stapling method makes the ends of the deck bulge in an unnatural fashion. It's good for a quick construction so you can test the concept, but then if you like the result, you should go back and remake the deck with smooth glued ends. You can use architect's masking tape to hold the cards together while the glue dries, and then remove it.
