My wacky wolf funhouse has been damaged. The star and top of the E have snap off and become ever so slightly bent so that they don't match up with. I have glued them lightly back on but there is now large crack through the E and about an inch long crack through the background.
Can anyone suggest how I can repair this better? I know Chance is not making them at the moment but if I can't repair it properly, I will have to buy a new one. |

Hi Nicholas,
I'm not sure of the material, but if it's plastic then you can get a plastic filling compound from a model store to fill the crack. I'd presume that you can then repaint. Hope it helps. Best Wishes, Kevin Mc Lean. |

Nicholas,
It is always best to call or email me when you any problems with my product and BEFORE you try a repair as I can give you the best method possible. In this case, SUPER GLUE is the best product available to repair my props. The Vinyl will need to be replaced, which is easy and /or you can get an entire new faceplate. You would need to send the prop to my shop but it will cost a lot less than buying a new one. Fed Ex GROUND is the BEST and cheapest method. You MUST call or email me for packing instructions as the Funhouse is a tricky prop to pack. I hope this helps. Thanks Chance

And, I can't recommend it enough to BUY A CASE, especially for this prop, due to the fragility of the facade. Can't believe I transported it to library shows last summer without it and didn't get damaged. Recently got a case, and now, NO WORRIES about it.

Steve,
You are absolutely right! Folks should always go the extra investment to protect their props Especially in this "case". Chance

Some props, you can get away without a special case. Not this one, however. Anything fragile either stays here or gets a case.

I bought the replacement stickers for FUNHOUSE cos is torn....WOW! I am so surprised to see the wording sticker has upgraded to a Thick Plastic(OR Vinyl...) one-piece cut out bright yellow wording material...this make the Funhouse looks so elegant!

Tho' I don't have any of the Wolf Props (they're BEAUTIFUL but they just don't fit my style), I have an ATA Case for EVERY SINGLE PROP that I spent over $100 for (which is pretty much everything).
If you're going to spend money on quality Magic, then you need to protect your investment. Most of the stuff in my current show is over 15 years old but it still looks like it's fresh from the showroom shelf! BUY A CASE!!!!

Nicholas,
Don't quote me on this but I am almost sure I read here on the Café that Chance was out of commission for a while. (again don't quote me ) I would do a search or try contacting again.

Can you guys help me with the strip of material that holds the load flap to the box. My bunny likes to dig at it and the strip is coming unglued. What do you suggest I use to reglue the piece back? Thank you.

Itsmagic,
If you are talking about my Funhouse, then DO NOT remove that strip!! This does not hold the panel on as the gimmick panel is held on by hinges underneath the strip. The Black Felt strip is there to PROTECT the Bunny from getting his toenails caught in the gap that it covers. We learned about this happening from our first run which did not have the coverstrip of felt. The bunny got his nail caught in the gap which closes when the trap falls flat and he screamed like a child. Very sad and truly made me feel bad for not seeing this possibility. Any repairs to the box itself can be done by using Super Glue as the majority of the prop is comprised of a plastic like material. Hope this helps! Thanks Chance

Thanks Chance for your suggestion and background info on the strip. Wow, I'd hate to be the magician that produced a screaming bunny!
I'll superglue the strip. Thanks. |
