Thanks to Wiz Kids taking over the last two articles for The Wizards' Journal #16 on my site, I was able to spend time working on this classic 1950's effect from Edwin Hooper of Supreme magic. The Wiz Kids found the old original effect under my front porch, but it was in sad shape, so they asked me to help restore it. As I did so, I began to think of ways to improve it, and one of those ways involved making a pocket packet version, as well as coming up with a whole new switching method that is much more deceptive than the one provided by Edwin. Of course, he was making them to sell and had to settle for something easy, whereas I wrote up the effect for our "Do-It-Yourself" customers and Wiz Kids who don't mind a little challenge and who are making these for their own use and not for sale to others.
Anyway, the Three Little Pigs is ready, pocklet packet version, and you'll find it on my site!

Our version of the Three Little Pigs is not a ready-made set, but one which you make yourself, printing out the images using your computer printer and then gluing the paper to cardboard. Laminating the finished cards is recommended to make them long lasting.
http://www.magicnook.com/WIZj16/WIZ16-08ThreePigsPocket.htm The e-Book introduces a new pocket sized version, but we have remade the stage size version as shown in the photos and the Wiz Kids now use it in almost every show. It really is a time kliller when you go through every line of "Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin; then I'll huff and I'll puff to blow your house in." But the kids love it and shout out the lines right along with the Wiz Kid story-teller. When you order the e-Book, be sure to request the large images (as instructed in the e-Book) if you want to also make the stage sized versions.
