The Bunny outline is my doings. The first half of the week two of the "break-out" rooms were being used by a Conference of Homicidal Detectives. They all were "hard-faced" Cops, that seemed to forget laughter is proven medically helpful.
So I taped an outline on the rug, "Who Killed Roger Rabbit?" and a Yellow Magic Zone caution tape around it. The KIDabra people thought it was funny, but the Detectives never cracked a smile. "Oh-Well" I guest their "blood-pressure" will be high in the future. They do need to get a little humor in their lives.

Curiously, I was one of those guys. In fact, the day I arrived the author of one of the leading forensic investigative text books was there lecturing and signing an updated version of his book...the book that was used in my training program years back. It was a pleasure to talk to him.
My sense of humor got me into more than a bit of trouble, but it also kept me and my team sane through the long hours and the crap we witnessed. Still, I was surprised that they refused to enjoy the humor of the rabbit death scene. When you literally feel your faith in humanity slipping away and let this stuff get under your skin, it's time to transfer or retire...as I did in '92 after 22 years on the job.
How you leave others feeling after an Experience with you becomes your Trademark.

A couple of Cops and a Firefighter, KIDabra Members, and Children Entertainers....Hmmmm, we seek laughter to off-set the years, of trauma we witnessed.

 I always thought that it was a natural regression back to a gentler, less violent time! Although...I do miss those occasional "Taking the bad mood out on some loathsome skell" days.

Dollywood has been rated a top anusement park food destination for years, and it is in Pigeon Forge, Tn. They say that a slice of Dollies apple pie will feed three people, but in your case maybe only two people. Wow a cop with a sense of humor, whoda thunk it.

To be honest with you my friend. Dolly's french fries are unforgetable, and you may have to stand in line for hours to try her chicken. I have no life, and I watch the food chanel all the time.

Thank you. I had an argument with some republican magicians at that OTHER place so I had to come back. Lyndel I must say that I would never have guessed that you were in law enforcement. I'll bet that like me you never fit in at your first career. I can't tell you how many reviews I got that said "Al is not serious enough to go very far in engineering" boy were they right. LOL
