Hi there - maybe someone can help! I'm looking through my long-unused boxes of magic gear, and I find a glass with a shot glass in it. The big glass is plastic, and it's fluted - you can see in, but not perfectly. The shot glass is just a shot glass. They are both ungaffed. I'm pretty sure they belong together. I just can't remember what effect they are for!
Anyone know? Thanks! |

Maybe something related to 'Chen Lee's Water Suspension' effect? (UF Grant?)

Or they could be part of a coins in glass effect, in which case you probably have a base somewhere and a means of vanishing four coins.

Thanks, Mark-- that has possibilities. Maybe it'll jog the right memories. This is still driving me nuts!

Mark may be onto something; it's called "Copentro" and you are looking for a circular wooden base with a groove in it near the outside, that holds the big glass.

I'm pretty sure though that Conpentro uses a real glass rather than plastic...

Yes you are right the coin with wood base conpentro does use glass glasses but maybe they are not for a trick together. If you stretch a clear piece of latex around a dime and capture it you can do a coin penetration.
