Okay, this trick, a signed coin to beneath-the-cellophane-on-a-cigarette-pack, is a downloadable PDF and only costs $6.50. Still, before impulsively picking it up I thought I'd ask if anyone here has gotten it yet.

Why would you put a signed coin under the cellophane? Just to prove that you can?
How many Magicians does it take to advertise a trick? Three.. One to steal the trick. One to steal HIS trick. And one to write a good review.

I got this and like it a lot. I found it easy to understand and do. At 6.50 it's a bargain. There's a review of the trick here: http://www.andster.com/?p=407
As for why you would put a coin under cellophane, the effect is you're attempting to cause the coin to pass thru the pack. The spec removes their hand and the coin is still there. They try to pick up the coin and can't. It only made it as far as under the cellophane. In the review Andster talks about doing it with a deck of cards and I think that would be easy to do as well. It's a good trick at a good price. |

I got a copy of this to review but haven't had time to write anything yet. Let me just say that at 6.50 I thought it was a good deal. I thought the trick and method were solid and well thought out. In an impromptu setting this could be a little miracle. The only problem I saw is that if you are in a venue that is family oriented... ha I usually am not but if you were... cigs might not be an option. However, with a little thought you might be able to use a deck of cards. I'll post a review in the proper section soon.
Peace Beth

It's a penetration effect. What's so illogical about it?

What makes sense about a coin ending up in a nest of boxes? In a ball of yarn? In a soda can? It's a coin to impossible location trick. You offer to show how to make a coin pass thru the pack, using it as a table if one isn't around. They cover it with their hand and you say the magic words or whatever. When they lift their hand it's still there only it's under the cellophane and the pack is still sealed. I like it. Cool effect.

Can you use this for an unopened card case and use that cellophane?
