I use only 1 of the flags. The one missing the blue and the correct one. I start by vanishing the 3 red white and blue silks via a popcorn dye box, but "forget" to vanish the blue one. I show a clatter box empty and have the mis made flag in there. I then take the mis made flag and the blue silk and use the change bag to change them back. Along with that ending I use a breakaway wand and fan and a bang gun. Josh
I use only 2 of the flags***
If a magician is not intending to "trick" a spectator, why is every "trick" called a magic "trick"?

I do the fairly simple yet highly entertaining routine.
I uses a double change-changebag. First side is empty, middle has flag with blue missing, and third has correct, and then blue stripes on top. Bag is shown empty and colors are put in, but blue falls to the floor unoticed by the magician. Children see and scream but you ignore them and do the trick till the flag is produced missing blue (show bag empty). They yell "It's on the floor". You pick it up and ask why they never told you. then you put the flag in the bag, and then secretly swith the lever and deposit the blue into the bag so it will remain with the colors again. then you shove it into the bag and have kids blow (or whatever) then you reach in and pull out blue stripes.THey say it is incorrect, so put it back into the bag (same place as the one without the blue) and you agree to start over so you shake the bag,(as you flip switch to gain access to colors) THen you pull out the three colored ones again (then show bag empty). Now put them back in the bag and look around to make sure that none is dropped.(while you flip switch to gain access to real flag) Now you produce the real flag and show the bag empty again. (this is REALLY brief) there is a whole lot of jokes and by-play but I have not got time to list the entire routine. The actual routine is pretty good and goes over REALLY well with the cildren. |

Gosh, I hope he's found a good routine by now - the original post is over 2 years old!

Don't worry about it Kyle. That's how old discussions get brought back to life for a *new generation* of readers.
