Hi Guys,
I hope its okay if I do a bit of quick psuedo market research.... I've been experimenting for my own use and come up with a really nice PK Wallet, which is to say a wallet with an inobvious PK driver built in. I find it very useful because it is ridiculously easy to introduce into the environment. I just pull my wallet out of my pocket and throw it on the table while "looking for" the deck with the PK gimmicked card or other PK gimmicked item. Also, I carry a PK gimmicked business card in my wallet itself and take that out of the wallet, leaving the wallet on the table. Its great for an impromptu PK show because its my day to day wallet so I always have it with me. Its especially deceptive with people who know me because they have seen the wallet in casual use in the past. The driver is quite surprisingly strong and I'm able to do PK Match a good 4 to 6 inches above it. It also makes a great driver for doing Enlightenment in my own hands. My wallet is a bit of a hack that I made myself out of a credit card wallet like this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71......280_.gif I'm thinking however of getting a leather worker to make some up professionally. In this case the driver would be hidden in the lining of the wallet. (I wouldn't recommend letting an audience member handle it though for obvious reasons.) My questions are this: (1) What sort of interest might there be in a high quality professionally hand made version of this? (2) What sort of wallet do most people carry and would be most useful? (3) What could I reasonably charge at retail for this? (4) What is typical "dealer markdown" on items like this? Thanks JK

Heh, I wish you were referring to the driver, but I suspect your just referring to the wallet
I looked a long time to find one like that. 90% of my life is cards. Almost 0% of my life is checks. I have cards for everything... from credit cards to my zoo member ID and everything in between. This wallet helps me keep it all on me and organized. If anyone is looking for one I can find the reference for you on Amazon. I assume thoiugh that most people would want a more "ordinary" gimmicked wallet. Am I wrong?

Well, I've updated my wallet to include a basic CTW as well as the PK driver as I've been inspired by my purchase of the Extractor. The great thing about a CTW with this wallet is its a perfectly natural way to take the wallet out of your pocket. After which, you drop it on the table and your all set up for PK effects.
I've never owned a CTW wallet, so my CTW gimmick is a best guess based on the Wallets I've seen advertised. I don't know if its particularly good, bad, or a blatant copy of someone else's idea. Frankly, the approach seems so natural that I rather suspect I just reinvented the wheel and someone has done this before. This wallet is built the way I want it, so there is no zipper. I find the zipper unnatural as, although wallets with zippered pouches do ecxist, they aren't common. To me the zipper screames "prop", and the whole point of this wallet is its an everyday carry and use item. I haven't tried making an envelope for it yet but I probably will. I have some ideas on how to do that that, again, I strongly suspect someone has used before.

Im not much of a PK anything user, so this may or may not apply to the way you have constructed your wallet. But be very aware of how you construct it, as it is not recommended to place your credit cards or ANY card that needs to be read next to ANY type of M*****! This will destroy the cards, and even if there is enough padding in between, and nothing has happened thus far, it only takes a touch and a second to having to get replacement credit cards.

Very nice design, looks like you can hold your whole life, and I agree. It would definitely create the need for 2 wallets so you don't wipe your cards of the information they contain.

I like the idea.....as long as you're at it, why not make it a Himber type PK wallet with CTW capabilities. I use the himber for a lot of stuff and the PK benefit would be an awesome addition. I use old "ruined" CC's in my Himber just to make it look legitimate and it does the job. I'd pay good $$$ ($150 or maybe more) for a nice PK Himber. Since I don't do a CTW that doesn't interest me, but it wouldn't deter me from buying one with that feature.

I came up with an idea to use PK effects with any regular wallet, but the wallet is not meant to be used with CTW effects.
Have fun folks |

That's really a nice looking wallet -- should you decide to make and sell that please keep me in mind...
And as far as making it looked used -- use old, expired credit cards...then no need to worry about anything! Plus 'fixed' business cards and whatever else you may want...lot's of possibilities. BTW, I love the PK stuff -- real fun ;-) David |

I am sure there would be a demand for it so I would produce some to test the market but it just occured to me ....... Why don't I put my m5 in an old wallet with old cc's and I would have the same !!!!
