Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a list of sources on these two creations. I have a few DVDs that explain them but they still don’t look right to me. So if you could post where you learned yours from I would be extremely appreciative.

Thanks

There is a really cute Elmo & Cookie Monster bracelet that can be made very simply. The teenage girls especially love Elmo. It is a design that I came up with while fooling around. If this design is on someone's DVD then I do apologize in advance.

Blow up a red 260 about 6 inches. Make a 1 1/2" bubble followed by a 1/2" ear twist and another 1 1/2" bubble. Bring the remaining inflated part back to the nozzle and tie together the uninflated part to the nozzle. Bring the reat of the uninflated part back to the other side and tie it to where bubble 3 is to form the bracelet part. Blown up a 5" orange round a tiny bit and a white 5" round about twice the size of the orange. Tie them together and split the white balloon in half. This forms the eyes and nose. Attach this to the ear twist.

Cookie monster can be made the same way by chnging the base and nose colors.
Hope this helps.

How long do those take you? Hardly two minutes and under, right? I would be very impressed!

WHOA. Okay, back to the basics for me! I have the skill sets, but awful at speed. Any tips and tricks, or just practice?

Those sculptures can't be Elmo and Cookie Monster.

Let's just call 'em:

Generic, non-trademarked, red monster (GNRM) and generic, non-trademarked, blue monster (GNBM).

Thanks,

The legal department

Did I name them?

If I tell a joke while making them it falls under the term parody. Same way Weird Al can redo anyones songs with new lyrics. Same as Eddie Murphy calling himself Gumby. No permission needed.

Gray area yes, important not really.
