Has any one set up a workable Pepper's Ghost illusion in a parlour setting?
If so how feasable was it? Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Ian |

Not in a parlour, but I have set up the Pepper's ghost illusion on stage.
The main thing to remember when performing the illusion is that the distance between the image you are reflecting and the reflecting surface will equal the distance behind the reflecting surface that the image will appear. where the audience will see the reflection must be taken into account and you have to provide sightlines to everyone who sees the effect. This is not as easy as one may think. Sam Sharpe was the master historian of these kind of effects. I've even written a magazine article about this effect, send me a personal mail if you wish to know more. |
