Hi all
I know this really has little to do with hypnosis, but can anyone tell me where to get a hypnowheel. The kind that you look into the middle of and after a few seconds if you look away things distort. I know there are various kinds for the computer but I want one I can use for audiences. I saw one with a motor that was really cool (probably just a drill). Anyone have a source? Thanks |

Theres a guy called 'Michael Mezmer' in CA who used to sell them - and I think made them rotate with motors (he used them to prime his audiences a little). In the UK I got one through a toy store - it was a pack called 'the incredible shrinking rabbit' (they do a fish too). The disc is good - there is a small protrusion in the middle allowing for easy spinning on any flat surface.

There is also another version that was available through Alakazam. I think it was 'The Incredible Expanding Head Illusion'. It is a wheel and I think it is on a motor.

Wow, weird, I just ordered one from the link posted above this morning, I even have the reciept printed sitting on my desk. Your link is a lot more user friendly but doesn't offer the motor (I ordered the motor too so I hope it all comes).
Thanks for posting this so others can find it. Not really hypnosis, but it sure is a lot of fun |

I seem to have made a mistake. http://www.tophatprod.com/store/product.php?productid=16162 is a stand witn a motor in it for the wheel. Cool, but for me, not $100 cool.
The one I ordered also has a new page since this morning when I ordered it. http://www.tophatprod.com/store/product.php?productid=16139 shows this piece. |

For those in the UK, you can get one of these from Hawkins Bazaar for £3.99
http://www.hawkin.com/find/keyword-is-ex......rer=true You can attach it (the disc, not the bunny!) with a bit of Araltite to a wooden dowel and then put it into a cordless drill if you want to have a version that doesn't need a table (great for getting people's heads to expand and shrink if they're standing about 6m away). Cheers, Matt |
