I was looking at the surgical stainless steel chop cup that RNT II is offering, and it looks so nice...but wouldn't the gaffed ball hang up on the cup? It seems like the entire cup would be affected by the gaff itself. I'd like to get this but I'm having my doubts as to how well it would work out...anybody try one or have any ideas?

Surgical Stainless steel in does not attract the gaffed ball, the cup has a gaff in it.

Silverking, thanks for the excellent metallurgy lesson.
Jake, it's great that you came on here and answered my question! I hear nothing but great things about your work. I'm looking for a high-end replacement for my Johnson cups and Morrissey mini-chop cups and I'm sure now that I've found it. Can you tell me how well the marashcino cherries might work with this cup? |

Yes, the Cherrys will work fine with this cup.
