People ask me to perform a lot. Usually I have a deck on me and do a quick card to/under box effect.
I've been working on, however, a new routine that's more of a "mini show". If you could give me your opinions, tips, and ideas, I would appreciate it. Deck production: Don't know yet. Chill pack won't really work for me Wallet Wallop: This is not a typical "card trick" I guarantee it will be SO good that if you don't like it, you can tell me to get the !@#$ [point middle finger] off. [ do the trick ] Thumbtime [ a variation on Losander's Chain Breaker]: We're gonna try something a bit different. Anyone have a watch I can borrow? [ do effect ] Now I KNOW one of you [point at all of them] guys really want a balloon animal. We can do that or I'll show you one last trick. Shuffle-bored [my own variation with guaranteed applause]: Have you noticed that I've been doing the magic all this time? This one you really have to help me out on. [ do effect ] Applause encore: ACR Thanks in advance. Sahun Hong |

Where are you performing this 'mini show'? What kind of performance? Parlor?

It is the venue and the type of audience that determines the routine. What do you mean by casual venue?
