Anybody have a source for the use of the coins at the end? |

Thanks for the link- a joy to see JohnM work.
As to the load, look in older books - of parlor conjuring - or perhaps a quiet PM to Bill Palmer to discuss if you want to pursue finding the item or having one made to suit.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

So far we have only seen John Mendoza work with coins as the final load. I wonder if there is anyone else.

The John Mendoza coin load is discussed on his 'My Best' DVDs.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

I had one about 40 years ago but just with a chop cup... could be easily used in a 3 cup routine.

There is one in Pockety Chop that can be adapted to almost any cup.

I've been playing with this fo a pirate themed cups and balls routine but as of yet haven't perfected the entire routine. Got some great final load balls though that are clear with skulls in them the light up.

There is info about a final load of a stack of coins in Eddie Joseph's book on the Cups & Balls, click HERE to view.
I believe this was originally published by Abbott's. For some unknown reason the type is set in all caps (!), which is a little tough on the eyes after a while. But the content is quite interesting. SETH

It was probably originally published by Supreme or Harry Stanley. Abbott's became the US publisher of record for copyright purposes. They also printed many of his manuscripts, so you will see the same book in different formats.

Sorry, that was a stupid question.

Los Angeles magician John George (IBM and SAM close-up champ) ends with both a loose coin load (different method than Mendoza) and a water load with his cups and balls routine. You can see him occasionally in the Close-up Room at the Magic Castle. He has a killer set and his cups and balls routine is just the icing on the cake . . .

Tony Slydini also has a pile of coins production from a cup which can be used as a final load. Mike Gallo also has a one arm bandit type of routine with a pile of coins falling.
There are also several routines attempting to reproduce the cups and balls with cards as cups and coins or chips as balls, but I don't think that this was your question...
