The problem were all having Eric is that yes, this information is available elsewhere, but you have to put some effort into finding it. Even if that effort is only going into a library & reading a book, it's still more effort than lazy youtube surfers would be prepared to expel. If people really want to learn magic then effort & dedication is required. You're just giving secrets (no matter how small) away to curious loafers who can't be bothered to do more than type in a few keywords into their PC. Just in a vain hope of becoming the next youtube sensation. Very sad.

Not only that but if anyone can find out magic's secrets with the push of a button then magic will lose it's charm & mystery. Then nobody will want to see it & we're all f****d. It doesn't matter if you're the masked magician or a nobody revealing tricks on youtube, you are hurting magic. End of.
