Just heard on the news that the penny image is being changed again for the 1st time since 1959. Does anyone know what the back will look like? I think the front will stay the same.

Make America Great Again! - Trump in 2020 ... "We're a capitalistic society. I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on welfare and food stamps. Did anyone help me? No." - Craig T. Nelson, actor.

Why in the world do we need 4 different designs for a penny? I don't really think we needed the new designs of the nickel or even the presidential dollar coins either. Isn't there a better way to spend our money?

If it cost more than a penny to make a penny, and you can find them discarded all over convience store parking lots my question is why do we have them?

The pic is my most treasured pic of my wife when she was alive, and two of my kids. I treasure it because (you can't really see it in the smaller size) but her eyes were full of life and joy before the sickness took her.

This is a photo I will always hold dear to my heart.

I used to think the same thing. Then I found out they have been making a ton of money from the new quarters. Right off the bat a bunch of them get taken out of circulation by collectors. And with the quarters even little kids are filling in those maps that hold the quarters. Everytime someone fill one of those up, it's $12.50 out of circulation.

From waht I've read it makes them money when they change for a few different reasons. I ws with you before I read up on it, I thought it was one of the stupidest wastes of money I had heard of.

Vandy, taking money out of circulation is a great way to combat inflation. In case you haven't noticed, we need all the help we can get with that right now...
