A misunderstanding. I did not let my spectators read Sigma. My spectators were really amazed by my performances with Sigma (Coinport, E-Wave, Shades of Mind, Pun, plus several more). I had just as more fun entertaining them.

Needless to say, when this event happens I will be there with bells on to learn all I can from these three brilliant guys. How can one go wrong with Cavalli, Arce and Riggs???

It is still being put together. The location is still undecided in Europe.

Question for all:
Which way do you foresee mentalism evolving as people around the secular world become more and more skeptical about "phenomenon" like real psychics, people who speak to God and so on? And I'm really interested to know also where I can get Paolo's books! Heh... |

I feel the more skeptical society becomes, the stronger and more powerful great mentalism also becomes! As another thread recently touched on, for 'believers' what we do is not all that special at times, but for others with a healthy dose of skepticism (natural or learned), it becomes a grand Mystery and more vital to the human experience than ever before.

If one looks at the skeptical places, one finds skepticism as the new religion, if one looks in other places, one sees other things. The only real change that has occurred over the past 20 years is the way in which each of us can express out opinions, and the size of the audience we can reach. (My opinion) Faith, spirituality, and the belief in more than just ourselves is not diminishing, despite what those who hold the opposite point of view pronounce. Tony |

Ah... I am humbled by such wisdom.
I guess where I am from (a small island in South East Asia where technopreneurship is not just a word but also a philosophy of life), skepticism is unhealthily abundant. But thank you Tony and Jerome for reminding me that the world is larger than I can see from where I am. Perhaps I need to take my mentalism out of this country... Heh. |
