I built my own magic table/pad (no legs sits on a table), I like yours very much. How thick of birch plywood did you use for the underlayment? |

I'm using 1/2" birch plywood.....In my next table runs I will be giving the option to customers of joining the table top with either finger or dovetail joints..... I think this would give another eye appealing element to my tables....

Well, I'm almost done with a prototype of my new table with just a small change.....I have added dove tails to the table top...plus I'm giving it 5 coats of 100 percent Tung oil.....I'm pretty happy with the final product....Also, this table will have a double color table top which can be easily changed for a difference appearance....The botton stays the same.............
