How difficult is the move/this effect for those of us in the "performing for family and friends with no sleights category?"

The move is easy. Think of the beginner "Magic Arrow" trick. It is that easy.

If you purchased Predicta-Total from Bob Mason or Abbott's after 1977, he included his "Reversible Numbers" effect, where the spectators are asked if they would like the board turned to the right or the left (free choice). Anybody ever try or perform that version? Then there is no secret "move". Bob Mason also had a "Predicta-Total Impossible" routine which used an extra disc, with no secret move. Anybody ever seen that? I really like the "reversible numbers" routine suggested by Bob, even fools magicians familiar with the effect.

The suggestion seems to be that there is an approach in which a spectator can place their chips in a more random manner over the entire board. But I cannot figure out for sure if that is what is being said. Any help? Gianni |

I am thinking that a three way forcing bag... might be the way to distribute the numbers at the beginning. If the bag was clear then the performer could be seen to "mix" the items and reach in and grab a "random" set of three for each spectator.
I need to seach my stuff. I may have such a clear bag...
