I have always been fascinated by color changing deck tricks, but I never liked long setups, or the fishy handling of some of them. So I figured, why not make one of my own! I use this as my opening trick because it leaves the deck completely clean and ready to perform with.

If I had a nickle for every little thing I "reinvented" I would be rich.
It happens. Alex Elmsley once stole a move I invented and had the nerve to put it into print 30 years before I was even born!

Define "completly clean and ready to perform with" for us.
The blue card second from the top when you are done, seems to contradict this statement. While you are gaff gimick free, you are not clean. Careful of statements anc claims you make. The above quote seems to indicate you end up with a deck you can hand to someone to inspect instantly. You can not.

Usually, I double under cut the blue card to the bottom, put the blue card (8 spades) on top of it, do a DL, and put it in my pocket.
But I do end clean, just that time I didn't because I wasn't using it as an opener; just a stand alone trick.

So at the end you are NOT clean. See my point? Words mean things LOL.
No problem, cool trick, but it has been done.
